Alex currently leads Klarna's climate and environmental strategy. He has over a decade of experience in the climate space, working in leadership positions across civil society, the private sector, and government. He previously co-led the world's largest business initiative on climate, the Science Based Targets initiative, as WWF's representative on its Steering Committee. He was also part of the Leadership Team of WWF's Global Climate and Energy Practice.

Alex also worked in management consulting and business development roles with the climate consultancy Carbon Trust and led strategy development at ZUG, supporting the German government in implementing its environmental and climate programs.
