Our patented system, the Automated Selective Harvester ('Harvesta'), redefines broccoli harvesting. Traditional harvesting relies on multiple manual passes by large teams, making broccoli a high-cost field vegetable to produce. Harvesta replaces this with a robotic, AI-enabled platform that intelligently selects and cuts mature heads in a reduced number of passes—driving down costs, increasing labour resilience, and reducing crop loss due to harvesting delays.

Beyond harvesting florets, Harvesta also collects the often-discarded nutritious stalk. Using our patent-filed processing techniques, this biomass is transformed into four high-value sustainable ingredients — Prota, Fiba and Necta —opening new revenue streams and enhancing the circularity of vegetable farming.

Each pass of Harvesta captures high-resolution imagery of every plant, creating a comprehensive dataset that feeds into our digital platform, Intellia. Leveraging machine learning, Intellia will provide real-time field-level analytics and decision support, empowering growers with actionable insights for precision agriculture, improved land management, and optimal harvest timing.
