Description
UZE sets a new standard in mobile EV charging with its Mobile Rapid EV-Charging Delivery Platform, featuring a unique pick-and-drop bike-trailer concept. Customers can request and monitor charging sessions via the user app, while operators manage logistics, fleet performance, and scheduling through the operations platform, ensuring seamless and efficient service delivery.
The compact, off-grid charging units are designed for transport by cargo bicycles or LEVs. Powered by advanced Lithium Titanate Oxide (LTO) batteries, they deliver exceptional durability, offering 30,000 cycles at 100% Depth of Discharge (DOD) while retaining 80% capacity. With a round-trip efficiency of over 95%, energy losses are minimized. Using Silicon Carbide (SiC) technology, the chargers achieve up to 98.89% efficiency at 800 VDC input and deliver 50 kW to 500 kW power outputs. The bidirectional design supports EV charging and self-recharging via a CCS connector.
The innovative e2trail bicycle-trailer concept is integral to UZE’s platform. Designed for pick-and-drop flexibility, the trailer can be detached at charging sites, locked securely with an electro-mechanical brake, and easily reconnected for transport. For precise placement, the operator is assisted by the trailer's motorized walking mode, allowing effortless positioning of the mobile charger (trailer + charging box) next to a car. The dual-motor system synchronizes the bike and trailer via a CAN-bus system, ensuring smooth braking, acceleration, and lighting control. This eliminates any impact of the trailer on the cyclist, making it effortless to guide.
With a 450 kg payload, the e2trail handles inclines up to 24% and is powered by a 250 Nm motor with 2000 W peak power. Speeds are limited to 20 km/h for safe operation, while the bike alone reaches 25 km/h. Both bike and trailer feature swappable batteries, ensuring uninterrupted operation and maximizing uptime.
UZE’s platform and e2trail redefine urban mobility, combining efficiency, sustainability, and innovation for mobile EV charging.
