Polyal (Recycled Plastic from Beverage Cartons)

ALIER SA

Polyal is obtained through a proprietary recycling process that separates and transforms the polyethylene and aluminum fractions of beverage cartons into reusable plastic pellets. This process allows Alier to recover up to 30,000 tons of waste annually and produce around 15,000 tons of polyal, significantly reducing landfill disposal and environmental impact.

The resulting material is 100% recycled and 100% recyclable, aligning with circular economy principles. It is processed through extrusion technologies to create durable, high-performance products such as profiles and structural components used in construction and other industries.

By converting difficult-to-recycle waste into valuable raw materials, polyal contributes to reducing greenhouse gas emissions and supports the transition toward more sustainable material cycles.
