Optrak for EV and Multi-Fuel Fleets
)
Using Optrak's route planner, road freight operators can both carry out daily planning of their existing fleet and strategically explore different transition strategies for introduction of low-carbon on the basis of existing data.
Optrak's new optimisation makes use of the latest research into optimisation techniques (parallel metaheuristics) and AI-based auto-tuning to achieve optimised solutions that are up to 20% better than manual planning and 5%-10% better than previous generation optimisers.
Optrak's cloud-based software includes the main operational multi-user planner would interface with existing order management/ERP tools to take your orders and customer site information, then optimise to create the most effective routes (maximising fill on vehicles and building achievable plans that meet time-windows and driver shift regulations) which are then sent back to your core system to share with drivers/warehouse teams.
The planner, in conjunction with a suite of strategic modelling tools can then be used to facilitate planning a low-carbon transition to eHGVs or alternate fuel vehicles (whether retrofitted or purpose-built). This will enable the planners to explore different battery and vehicle sizing and different fuel alternatives, which depots to install charging or fuel bunkering at, or depot network modification.
