Madano’s Net-Zero Transition team have secured a three-year contract to lead media relations and communications support for Innovation Zero World Congress.
The appointment comes as Innovation Zero positions its 2026 programme around the UK’s move from policy ambition and clean growth targets to delivery. This year, a new format is designed to support investment and cross-sector collaboration across electrification, digitalisation and industrial innovation to help leaders move from strategy to delivery.
Madano will provide strategic communications support across media relations, content and messaging development, and stakeholder engagement, working with Innovation Zero’s leadership team to strengthen the event’s message of delivery across crucial components of the UK’s net zero mission. Madano will also be on the ground at the congress, facilitating journalist engagement with partners and attendees.
Tim Mann, Director of Strategy & Co-Founder, Innovation Zero, said:
“Our clean energy transition has now firmly moved into the delivery phase, and as we turn policy intent into investable projects and real-world deployment, this year’s Innovation Zero is focused on connecting the people who can make that happen.
“The team at Madano share our vision and passion, and bring the right blend of policy, media and technical know-how to help us, and our partners, tell those delivery stories clearly, amplifying our message of actions over words for the 2026 Congress.”
Michael Evans, President & Managing Partner, Madano, said:
“Innovation Zero represents a key convening moment for the UK’s net zero economy, precisely because it focuses on what happens next: delivery, investment and implementation. Real world impact.
“Madano already works with businesses and brands looking to solve the major challenges of our time through science, technology and engineering. Our partnership with Innovation Zero is about shared values, as we’re both committed to progressing the technologies and convening the relationships that will shape the transition.”
What’s new at Innovation Zero this year?
This year’s event will introduce a new format intended to move beyond discussion and towards measurable progress, including:
- Application-based roundtables & working groups focused on delivery challenges such as grid build-out, industrial electrification, climate tech scale-up and supply chain transparency, with outputs shared after the Congress.
- A bespoke meeting service for selected VIP attendees, designed to support curated introductions across investment and partnership opportunities.
- An expanded ‘Innovation Showcase’, connecting innovators with capital, customers and buyers across the transition economy.
Innovation Zero World Congress 2026 is expected to convene 7,500+ delegates, 300+ exhibitors and 300+ speakers over two days at Olympia London.
