H2NorthEast: Bringing new energy to Teesside

We are delighted to unveil a new project website and animation that bring H2NorthEast to life.
H2NorthEast is a Nationally Significant Infrastructure Project to build a 1GW CCS-enabled low carbon hydrogen production facility in the heart of industrial Teesside that will accelerate large-scale decarbonisation of the region’s energy intensive industries, while safeguarding vibrant and thriving industry.
It has the potential to unlock billions in investment, support thousands of jobs for the region, significantly contribute to the UK government’s hydrogen production target, and play a vital role in the transition to net zero.
