A time served, degree qualified mechanical design engineer with over 50 years’ experience in heavy, medium and light engineering. Having developed mechanical solutions for numerous projects in a variety of industries, including marine engines, computers, steel, subsea oil & gas, saturation diving and latterly wind turbines.

Design experience:-

10 years - Invention and development of an enhanced wind turbine system.

2.5 years - Subsea distribution and electronics company.

9 months – Design of subsea drilling equipment.

1.5 years – Drilling equipment for oil & gas company.

3 years - Saturation diving systems.

7 years – Tooling design for the steel industry.

15 years - Various disciplines in a computer manufacturer.

10 years - Design in a marine diesel engine company.
