Description
Founded by a textile engineer, expert and researcher in banana fiber degumming technologies; Twebaze Collins, Skilpack (U) Ltd is one of the best banana fiber research hubs in Uganda located in Njeru Municipality, Buikwe district near Jinja city. The company has evolved over the years from individual banana fiber research since 2018 to a fully registered company in 2022.
Product validation of hair banana hair extensions have been used by over 100 women in Uganda and commended its quality and other benefits including the anti-itching properties. We have had calls for supply of hair from both local and international markets. In addition, we have ensured zero waste by making banana fiber hair waste-puffed pillows.
Other products include banana fiber woven carpets, doormats, tablemats, coasters, lampshades and other decorative items.
