Optima Yachts have developed innovative, ultra-efficient hull technologies, optimised for 100% electrification. With significantly reduced energy consumption, an Optima Yacht has a range of up to 150 nautical miles, making electrification viable for longer passages for the first time and addressing the previous hurdle of range anxiety.

 a 10.5m demonstration vessel has been built and tested over the last 5 years with the financial backing of the UK Government with designs to productionise a 14m version of the vessel for the commercial market as a water taxi and a 2 cabin leisure vessel. 

Optima are now looking for investment or company sale to move forward with the business.
