N-SIDE is a software and consulting company active in the energy sector. We work mainly with Power Exchanges and System Operators. Our core offer includes a platform to run energy-related auctions (energy, capacity, CRM, cross-border allocation, ancillary services, etc.), clearing algorithms to calculate prices and exchanged quantities, and support to define or evolve market rules. We also provide advisory services on energy market design, power market and grid modeling, and training on how markets and grids work.
Beyond markets, we support System Operators with forecasting and optimization tools: capacity calculation (ATC, flow-based), transmission-distribution coordination, dynamic reserve dimensioning, congestion forecasting, remedial action optimization, and outage planning.
