minimass uses the right material, in the right place, for the right purpose - concrete in compression and steel in tension, with no waste. 3D concrete printing is the enabling technology, used in an innovative way in combination with steel post-tensioning. 3D printing allows cost-effective, precise, bespoke placement, only where the concrete is required.
The vast material reduction slashes embodied carbon by 50-78% and supply cost by 20-40% for minimass beams compared to traditional concrete or steel options, for equivalent performance.
