Medusoil Ltd is a specialized manufacturer of bio-minerals and a spin-off of the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (EPFL), incorporated in the canton of Vaud, Switzerland in 2020. The company produces and commercializes mineral binding agents designed to serve earthworks, special foundations, and building applications. Currently, MeduSoil supplies its products to custom infrastructure repair works as well as to new constructions. MeduSoil’s products improve the material properties of various geologies and mitigate various risks, such as settlements, erosion, or liquefaction. The breakthrough and patented technologies enable the use of organic binding agents, challenging the dependence on synthetic chemistry or mined binding agents to support construction projects reaching closer to net-zero. Their use typically reduces machinery and labor costs by 20 to 30 percent. Our solutions pave the way towards a new class of mineral additives to serve sustainable construction.
