Description
HutanBio has developed a scalable, commercially viable, zero-carbon liquid fuel made from sunlight, CO₂, and algae to target long-distance transportation’s billion-tonne hydrocarbon addiction, which collectively emits three billion tonnes of CO2 annually.
Currently, sustainable fuels account for around four percent of this figure.
By supercharging a 2-billion-year-old organism with 21st century technology, HutanBio delivers what the industry needs right now: a low carbon fuel with drop-in compatibility, zero infrastructure disruption and immediate impact.
HBx Biofuel is a safe, non-toxic, and nature-based solution which overcomes all traditional biofuel limitations: no arable land usage or freshwater draw, and scalable on unproductive desert coastlines.
