Harris Brick Safety Systems was founded after a life-changing injury ended my career in bricklaying. That experience revealed a serious problem in the construction industry: unsafe and outdated wall bracing systems that continue to cause accidents, injuries, and fatalities.
We developed The Brick Bud to change that — a reusable, easy-to-install wall bracing system designed to make sites safer, more efficient, and environmentally responsible.
Construction waste from bricks and cement alone contributes over 32,600 tons of CO₂ every year — equal to 17,000 diesel cars on the road annually. Our system helps reduce this waste, prevent injury, and support the industry’s transition to net zero.
The Brick Bud is more than a tool — it’s a shift in mindset. By prioritising safety and sustainability, we’re protecting workers today and future-proofing the trade for generations to come.
