Floreon Technology is transforming the plastics industry with high-performance, plant-based engineering biopolymers that rival traditional fossil-based plastics. Developed through a partnership with the University of Sheffield, Floreon® enhances Polylactic Acid (PLA) into a strong, versatile material suitable for demanding sectors like electricals & electronics, building products, transportation and healthcare. Unlike standard PLA, Floreon® matches or exceeds the strength of materials like ABS and PC-ABS while offering up to seven times lower carbon footprint. Its efficient processing reduces emissions and supports downgauging, boosting sustainability without compromising performance. Floreon’s Therma-Tech, Dura-Tech, and Bio-Tech ranges offer recyclability and compostability, supporting circular economy goals. Compatible with various manufacturing methods, Floreon® proves that environmental responsibility and high performance can coexist, enabling a cleaner, greener future.
