Lew Evans is the CEO and founder of Nexus Resilience Group, a UAE-based company delivering Adaptive Circular Solutions to secure the resources of life: Water, Energy and Food.

The Nexus model centres on Nexus Eye, an adaptive data management and control platform that includes machine learning-based virtual sensors to enable the optimisation of complex operational processes in real or near real-time. Nexus deployed the first AI solution for desalination in South Africa following the Day Zero crisis in Cape Town in 2018 and is currently focused on optimising water infrastructure in the GCC region.

Lew formerly served as a US Marine officer following 9/11. He witnessed the consequences of win-lose competition for finite resources and believes win-win cooperation to transform to a Circular Economy can fuel future peace.
